Post-doctoral researchers are selected at a meeting of the MNUMS Academic Council, in accordance with the university’s research priorities and implementation projects. Scholars from foreign and domestic universities, academic institutions, and research institutions in cooperation with MNUMS can participate, based at an MNUMS department, laboratory, institute, or university hospital.
Post-doctoral studies last 1-2 years and, based on the results, can be extended by up to 1 additional year. The Research Center signs a tri-party agreement with the researcher and their supervisor and monitors its implementation.
Post-doctoral researchers and their supervisors report research progress to the Research Center every six months, with a final report presented to the Academic Council at completion. The researcher must publish at least one article as first or corresponding author in a journal registered with Web of Science, Scopus, or PubMed.
The post-doctoral researcher is paid at the faculty level and may not hold dual employment outside the university during the contract period; a breach of contract requires reimbursement of related costs.
A supervisor must hold the academic title of associate professor or higher at MNUMS and lead a funded domestic, foreign, or MNUMS research project. Candidates must submit Form 1 for Government Staff, must not be more than 5 years past their doctoral degree, a list of academic works certified by their school or institute’s Academic Council secretary, and a supporting resolution from that council.
