Library services for MNUMS teachers, students, and staff, and for doctors, nurses, and medical professionals working in the health sector.

About

The Central Library of Health Sciences is responsible for providing library services to teachers, students, employees of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, doctors, nurses, medical professionals, and citizens working in the health sector, and providing them with the information necessary to improve their education and knowledge.

The library serves readers with the books and publications in its collection, develops library development policy, provides professional and methodological management to the libraries of the constituent and branch schools, and introduces modern and advanced techniques and technologies into library services.

Branch Libraries

  • Library Complex (East Campus)
    Located in the east campus, a 3-floor building with 480 seats and an area of 2,991.5 m². Its collection consists of medical books and serves students, doctors, medical specialists, and residents of the School of Medicine, International School of Mongolian Medicine, and Mongol-Japan Hospital.
  • Nursing Library (West Campus)
    A branch library in the west campus with 110 seats and an area of 223 m². Its collection consists mainly of nursing and pharmacy books, serving students and teachers of the School of Nursing and School of Pharmacy.
  • The Research Library (Central Campus)
    Located in the main campus, a 7-floor building with 495 seats and an area of 1,595 m². Its collection consists mainly of research materials and books in biomedicine and public health, serving students and teachers of the School of Biomedicine, School of Public Health, and Graduate School.
