English-Medium Medical Doctor Program

An ASIIN-accredited, internationally partnered English-medium Medical Doctor program with more than 100 students from South Korea, Canada, and Mongolia.

About

More than 100 students from Korea, Canada, and Mongolia are studying in the III-VI courses of the English-medium Medical Doctor program. Courses are conducted entirely in English, using a combined bachelor’s-and-master’s “Block” learning system. Students are prepared for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).

Vision: to prepare future medical specialists with international competitiveness. Mission: to prepare students from home and abroad with a curriculum accredited by ASIIN (the International Agency for Accreditation of Curricula in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Informatics and Engineering), training doctors with internationally recognized knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

International Cooperation

  • 2+4 Program — University of Georgia (USA)
    Mongolian students complete 186 hours of training: 2 years of basic professional courses and 4 years of clinical courses, as part of the cooperation with the University of Georgia in the United States.
  • Chung-Ang University (South Korea)
    A cooperation agreement with Chung-Ang University Health System and Hyundai International Medical Education Center in South Korea.
  • University of Texas (USA)
    A Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Texas Medical Center covering academics, research, education, and teacher-student exchange.
  • Summer Clinical Internships
    Available at San Antonio Methodist Hospital, Georgia State University Hospital in Atlanta, and Chung-A Hospital in South Korea.
