About

The Center for Society, Behavior, and Health is a foundational unit within the Institute of Public Health. It began its activities in 2016-2017 under the name "Health Promotion Center" as part of the Department of Behavioral and Public Health, and gained independence as an operational unit in the 2021 academic year.

The center offers professional and methodological consulting on health promotion, prevention, and behavior modification; conducts research, projects, and programs aimed at preventing prevalent diseases; fosters public participation through interdisciplinary collaboration; and works to influence the legal framework and policy initiatives within healthcare, drawing on a multidisciplinary team spanning preventive medicine, social work, psychology, and public health.
